I KNOW IS KINDA LATE FOR IMPATIENS, BUT I JUST HAD TO.
We've had an unusually long cool winter so I thought I try more impatiens. It's late in the season for them but, lets see how they do. I'll keep you posted.
What's not to love about impatiens? Our problem is that the summer offers more sun and heat than they like, so we opt for what is called 'Giant Impatiens' which thrive in our 'shade' garden... invasive a bit, but beautiful nonetheless..
Dear Marlene, so happy to be here in your beautiful garden again... sorry not to come before, but you know we have been through difficult times here in my country. I thank you so much for your words and prayers... Those impatiens are so pretty and the containers you put them in are gorgeous!! Muchos cariños, Maria Cecilia
I come from a family of farmers and gardeners. Gardening for me is more than a hobby. It has become a consuming passion that I so much enjoy and love. I garden in the challenging urban environment of south Florida. I started this small garden 10 years ago, by collecting, experimenting and mixing things up. I don't know much about botanical names. I'm some what creative and I love to decorate. There is no design, unity, or balance to my gardening style. It's just tropical, informal and relaxing. I love to learn and share, you wanna come along? Good luck with the impatiens. They are always so pretty and easy to grow for us here.
